All we like SHEEP!

 Day 1—God knows me.

Pom Pom Sheep

Supplies needed

-Sheep to decorate(you can use wood sheep from  craft store or paper print outs)

                       wooden sheep  or sheep print out

-Glue

-Markers/Crayons
-pom poms
-cotton ball
-googly eyes
-glitter or other decorating supplies(optional)

SAY:  Today we will be making a pom pom sheep.  Every sheep is unique! No two sheep are exactly alike. But a Good Shepherd KNOWS his sheep.  God is the Good Shepherd and he KNOWS you too. Each one of you is different. You look different from each each other, you act different from each other, you have different likes and dislikes. God knows you! He knows every part of you.   Today we are going to make sheep. I want you to think about what you like and don’t like. I want you to make a sheep that would look like you, if you were a sheep.   If you think that you would be a a sheep that is pink with orange polka dots, then make that. Maybe you think you would be a camo sheep.  Make your sheep to look like what you think you would look like.

·         Make sure kids put their name on their sheep

·         If there is time you could have the kids explain their finished project and tell the group why they made it that way.
