Craft Barn

Day 5- The Good Shepherd Invites Us.

Supplies needed: rings(the kind used for shower curtains like here)

White bulky yarn

String for hanging sheep

Circle verse template

                                                                                                                                                   Instructions:

Today we will be making a sheep Christmas ornament with our Bible Verse so the kids can hang them up and remember about Jesus becoming the Lamb of God.  

Have the kids wrap yarn around the ring to make the body of the lamb.

Attach a string for hanging the lamb

Use the template(or you could use black pipe cleaners to add the feet to the back of the lamb.

Have the kids attatch the lamb to the circle template so that the bible verse shows through and they can see it on the inside of their lamb.

Use templates given to make add a head for their lamb. They may want to add a little bit of yarn to the top of the lamb’s head. Make sure when they attach the head that they can still see the bible verse in the middle.

Encourage the kids to hang their lamb someplace where they can remember that Jesus is the Lamb of God.
